In the last article, we show you lots of examples of title openers<\/a> that created from serif fonts. So this time, we’ll show you how to make it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can divide this tutorial into three parts.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first part, we need the help of Google Fonts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Download various fonts from Google Fonts.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Search \u201cFonts\u201d on Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: Download the fonts you like, you can find them by filtering the categories, languages, properties, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Unzip the fonts and move the *.ttf\/*.otf file into the \u201cfonts\u201d file folder under the Windows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the second part, we need the help of PhotoShop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create the mask and edge files in PhotoShop.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Open the PhotoShop and create a transparent layer of 1920×1080 pixels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2; Use the \u201cType\u201d tool to type out the text. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Hold \u201cCltr\u201d key and drag the mouse to adjust its size and position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: Hold \u201cCltr+Shift+S\u201d to save it as a *.png image file in a folder named mask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5: Double click the text layer and check the box of \u201cStroke\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6: Click \u201cFill\u201d of the text layer and set it as 0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 7: Hold \u201cCltr+Shift+S\u201d to save it as a *.png image file in a folder named edge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finish the text video type in YouTube Movie Maker(YMM).<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Open YouTube Movie Maker and click \u201cShapes\u201d > \u201cCustomize A New Video Shape\u201d and choose \u201cDynamic Shape\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: Input a name for the video shape you\u2019ll create later. Pay attention that only numbers accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Click the \u201c+\u201d to upload a *.png of text into the \u201cmask\u201d file list box.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can directly save it as a video shape or add an outline to the text. If you want an edge for the text video shape, you can<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: Click the \u201c+\u201d to upload a *.png of the outline into the \u201cedge\u201d file list box.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5: Name a new Type for the text video shape you created, and then you can save all text video shapes in this new type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6: Click \u201cOK\u201d and you\u2019ll see the shape you made in the source basin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
